What Will Happen to the Character Played by Charlie Sheen in “Two and a Half Men”?

The character played by Charlie Sheen in the series “Two and a Half Men” – the womanizer bachelor – will be killed in the show set to resume on the small screen, and there is a new character introduced, played by Ashton Kutcher.

According to the TMZ website, the brother of Charlie Harper, Alan and his son, Jake, will find out that Charlie Harper died, and the TV screen will be blank for a minute or two.

Ashton Kutcher will replace the actor Sheen in “Two and a Half Men”, but will play another character. Kutcher said that he feels as if he has “won the lottery”. “I think I have never, in my 13-year career, received so many calls and e-mails of congratulations. One would think that I won the lottery or something like that… I have the best job in showbiz and am extremely happy for this”, he said.

Actor Charlie Sheen, fired in February from the distribution of the “Two and a Half Men” series will return to television in a show created “with him and for him” and will sign a contract to this effect this week, according to sources cited by contactmusic.com.

Charlie Sheen has requested 100 million dollars from Warner, which he accuse of abuse in breaking the contract; the dispute will be subject to arbitration.

The 45-year-old actor has always been a regular tabloid presence because of scandals and problems he had with justice, involving drugs, prostitution and domestic violence.

Sheen was the best paid TV star, making $2 million per episode for playing in “Two and a Half Men”.

Filming for the last eight episodes of season 2010 – 2011 of the series “Two and a Half Men” was canceled, and the future of this popular TV show seemed quite dark, after producers at CBS have clearly announced that Charlie Sheen will not return to the series. Ashton Kutcher has joined the cast in mid-May to replace Charlie Sheen for the new season to be released in the fall of 2011.
