Dilemma of the Biggest Billionaire in the World

“When I go, I will be completely naked”, said Carlos Slim, the billionaire. And it’s not about any billionaire, but of the world’s biggest billionaire, who at the age of 71, often wonders what to do with his fortune before he dies.

Prestigious Financial Times magazine interviewed the billionaire Carlos Slim, whose fortune was named by Forbes magazine as the largest in the world.

Owner of America Movil company, a colossus that spans 19 countries and has over 276 million customers, billionaire Slim can boast that, at the age of 71, he has 40% of the stock exchange in Mexico, due to his stocks in mining, real estate, tobacco, air transportation, and banks.

He finds it absurd to leave his entire empire to his children, and thinking of selling – he is absolutely certain that no one wants to buy something like this.

He considers donating it to the Mexican state. At a quick calculation, it would mean around 300 dollars for each citizen of Mexico, says the billionaire.

For the second consecutive year, in the magazine’s annual rankings, the world’s richest man is no longer an American, but the Mexican Carlos Slim (74 billion dollars), who is ahead of Bill Gates (56 billion), even though the co-founder of Microsoft is on the second place due to the important donations that he makes.

In a single year, the Mexican king of telecommunications and his family have increased their assets by more than 20 billion dollars.
