BMW 1M Series Coupe and Convertible Are to Come at Detroit

BMW will present at the Detroit Auto Show, along with the ultra-perform 1M Series Coupe, facelift versions 1 Series Coupe and Convertible. The two models received subtle exterior changes that optimize not only the look, but aerodynamic properties, and some improvements in the cabin.

Among the cosmetic changes include new optical blocks redesigned, with LED on rear, new wheels of 18 and 17 inches and a new aerodynamic spoiler. Also offered are two original colors for the body: Vermillion Red and Brown Marrakesh.

For the interior, the Bavarian car maker proposes new upholstery and new options, such as a new leather sport steering wheel with gearshift paddles and an M steering wheel, all with paddles. Button DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) on the instrument panel has been changed to an international symbol while lights and air conditioning control panel from the central console shows some chrome accents.

In the range of engines have been modified, including offering the same engines: normal aspirated petrol unit of 3.0 liters and 220 horsepower, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo of 300 hp and the 2.0-liter diesel with power versions of 143, 177 and 204 hp.
