2 Suicide Bombers Massacred Over 38 People in Southeast Iran

The state media of Iran has recently declared that on Wednesday morning 2 suicide bombers decided to blow themselves up right next to an Iranian mosque. They managed to kill over 38 people who were attending the Shiite ceremony, as well as injure several others.

The actual attack happened near the Imam Hussein Mosque in Chahbahar, Iran close to the Pakistanis border. At first, the bombers’ intention were to attack the congregation that was attending the ceremony that very morning and thus, they ended up killing a lot of innocent people.

The Iranian TV media declared later on that the first bomb went off just outside the mosque, while the second one was targeted to explode in the middle of the crowd. Fariborz Ayati, a forensic official of the Iranian authorities testified that the number of casualties were over 38. Over the past few days, Mahmoud Mozaffar who is a spokesman of the Iranian Red Crescent Society declared that there were several bombing threats however nobody had taken them into consideration.
